SoundNex Magazine – Music Review

Independent music deserves attention — and the artists behind it deserve to have their stories told.

SoundNex Magazine gives independent solo artists and bands a space where listeners can discover their songs and learn more about their work.

Our detailed song reviews explore the music, lyrics, vocals, instrumentation, production and emotional impact of a release. We explain what makes each song distinctive and introduce readers to the artist behind it, incorporating relevant background and the story of the release.

Each review is published in 12 languages on a dedicated SoundNex Magazine page, featuring release artwork and relevant listening and artist links. This makes the feature accessible to readers from different countries and gives artists a lasting editorial reference for their music.

Artists can share their review with fans, link to it from their website and social media, and include it in an electronic press kit or press communications.

Based in Austria and operated by the nonprofit SoundNex Association, SoundNex welcomes independent artists worldwide across a wide range of genres. The review fee covers editorial work and publication; it does not purchase a positive rating or guarantee streams or audience numbers.

SoundNex also offers radio promotion, music show submissions for episodes published on Mixcloud, and free submissions for consideration for its Spotify playlists. These are separate services and are not automatically included with a song review.
