Marathon Music Works

Marathon Music Works is a prominent mid-sized concert and event venue located in the historic Marathon Village neighborhood of Nashville, Tennessee. Originally built in the early 1900s as an automobile manufacturing plant for Marathon Motor Works, the building was restored and repurposed as a versatile event space that opened in November 2011.

Venue Details

Type: Industrial-chic warehouse style with exposed brick, high beam ceilings, and polished concrete floors.

Capacity: Approximately 1,500 to 1,800 for standing-room concerts.

Seating: Primarily a standing venue, but can accommodate 600–750 for theater or banquet-style events.

Amenities: Features multiple full-service bars (including the attached William Collier’s craft cocktail lounge), a mezzanine balcony, and an internal food stand (Hot Daddy’s Dogs).

Policy: The venue is cashless and typically all-ages unless otherwise specified for a particular show.
